Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. Our chiropractors have years of training and experience in spinal and extremity adjustments.

Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Trigger Point Dry Needling

TDN is an extremely effective technique that uses a very fine acupuncture needle to "deactivate" or "shut down" painful or knotted areas in your muscle. Many of us have areas in out body that feel like a hard ball in the muscle. By inserting fine needles into these tight areas, we elicit a "twitch response" or a brief contraction followed by an immediate and long lasting relaxation. Because the needle can treat very deep parts of the muscle, the technique can achieve amazing pain relief that you never thought was possible.

Sports Massage

Massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Sports massage therapy is geared towards athletes of every kind, from world-class professionals to weekend joggers. The particulars of the sports massage technique are specific to the athlete's sport of choice. Focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

A non-invasive technique using specially designed stainless steel instruments to treats areas exhibiting scar tissue or chronic inflammation. The instruments are moved over the affected area and come in contact with the adhesions, to help break up scar tissue and fascial restrictions. In time, this process will reduce or eliminate the adhered fibers, restoring range of motion and eliminating the associated pain.

Physiotherapy

To complement and enhance the healing effects of your treatment, we at Integrated Health Center L.L.C. also provide the following physiological therapeutic procedures:

  • Ultrasound
  • Interferential electrical muscle stimulation
  • Cold Laser Therapy

Functional Movement Evaluation

An assessment that identifies weaknesses and malfunction of normal movement of the athlete before the injury can occur. We will not only identify those weaknesses and malfunctions but will build a plan for the individual athlete to rehab altered functions that can be incorporated into their normal sport conditioning and strength training programs. It is a great way to learn about your own biomechanical body movements and how to perform at even a higher level

What is cold laser therapy?

Cold laser therapy, also referred to as low-laser therapy, uses special light waves to help stimulate the body’s natural healing and repair response, as well as to regenerate damaged cells. Cold laser Therapy or Low-level laser therapy does not produce heat, so patients won’t feel any heat or discomfort during their treatment.
